What's the best and worst thing about being an old west cowboy?
Mexican Vaqueros actually traveled to Hawaii in the early or mid 1800’s (I don’t remember the exact year) and taught a bunch of native Hawaiians the art of cattle raising/herding/ranching/cowboying. The Hawaiian Cowboy is known as the “Paniolo” and it’s culture is strong in Hawaii to this day. Rodeos, ranching and Country Western music is huge in Hawaii and especially on the Big Island, the local country music radio station is one of the most popular. So yeah, being that Hawaii is now a part of America, Paniolo culture is one of the oldest groups of Cowboys in America! Alohas everyone and have a blessed day.

fun fact there is a really old recording of a guy from this time era he was asked how safe it was he said they never lcoked anything doors were left open all times of day and night you almost never heard about someone getting attacked or getting shot.
