What is like living in Dallas | Dallas: One of the safest cities in the US

Living in Dallas first off let’s talk about crime crime in Dallas has actually gone down and in a very recent Gallup poll Dallas was ranked number one safest city out of 16 cities that were pulled so I’m very happy about that and while many of our big cities are seeing an

Increase in homelessness car break-ins mobs breaking into stores and walking out with merchandise you won’t find that in Dallas I’m not saying never I’m just saying that’s very uncommon here now Dallas is home to 1.2 million people and is the ninth largest city in the U.S

Listen to what the mayor has to say that Gallup poll that just came out we were happy to see that that’s how Americans view our city but really it makes me uh very really proud of our Police Department the Dallas Police Department has worked really really hard to throw

The kitchen sink at violent crime and we’ve worked really really closely with the community here in Dallas to make sure that our police feel supported throughout this time when a lot of people have talked about funding the police and questioning the the role that law enforcement plays in making a city

Great we’ve doubled down on law enforcement here in Dallas and we’ve made public safety our top priority for the past four years I’ve been mayor and it’s paid off and that poll while we don’t um you know we don’t put too much stake in polls I think the American

People are are seeing when they come to visit Dallas what we who live here know about this today which is it’s a great City it’s a safe City and we’re working hard to make it safer all crime is down 1.5 percent in the city and the department has used a system called Hot

Spot policing to really focus on the areas that need it another thing going for Dallas is that the community supports the local police unlike other large cities Dallas has continued to increase fund funding to its Police Department that’s something I love about Texas Texans love their police next up

Is Dallas is the opposite of Dole there’s always something vibrant and fun going on in Dallas you can catch a star’s hockey game I like Mavericks basketball the museums are awesome and I love the Perot Museum it’s my favorite it’s a Museum of Nature and Science great art museums also Dallas is for

Foodies love all the restaurant choices you will find Cuisine from all over the world let’s talk about jobs in the economy in Dallas okay let’s just say it’s booming it’s continuing to boom and not just the city of Dallas but the suburbs as well so corporations just

Keep moving here to Texas creating many many job opportunities and so I love that about Dallas we really have a mix of Industries including energy technology Finance Healthcare and Telecommunications what I love is the diversity in jobs it means that the cities aren’t over reliant on one particular sector for its economic

Well-being we have many Fortune 500 companies that are headquartered here in the Dallas Fort Worth area that’s including a TNT Southwest Airlines Exxon Mobil and it’s a great central location hub for transportation and Logistics Dallas Love Field is really close to downtown where Southwest Airlines flies

Out of what that means is you can easily fly to just about any City on the globe Dallas has ample green spaces to get away from the concrete jungle I love how they have preserved multiple parks and areas they’re beautiful in Dallas so if you are going to be living in Dallas

There’s plethora of things to do so the Clyde Warren Park is really cool it used to be an overpass but now it’s five acres for families to come and hang out or maybe a couple on a date you can do yoga just not in this heat right now

Wait for the fall attend a concert it’s a great Gathering Place surrounded by very good dining and the center piece of Clyde Warren Park is the fountain so you’ll see kids playing in it there’s a 5 000 square foot Splash Pad which it really can accommodate hundreds of

Children at a time now I’ve never seen hundreds there but it could at night it also has the fountain dancing with water and choreographed light music show so this is super cool also one of my favorite things in Dallas is Katie Trail it’s a long jogging Trail it kind of

Goes through the woods you can see some houses there’s a place to get refreshed for lunch it’s a really nice jogging Trail as for housing the Dallas Market it’s strong the median home price is 436 thousand dollars and listen that’s up five percent over last year and the sale

To list price is almost 99 percent and the median days on Market is only 26. so Dallas it’s a great place for housing right now and it has a good mix of single family homes condos and townhouses and the renovated properties they’re super hot right now now we’re

Going to talk about the not so great things about living in Texas the number one that comes to mind because it’s summertime is the heat normally I can bear Texas summer but not the last this year and last year we’ve had so many days over 100 and I don’t want to be on

Katy Trail when the temperature is over 100 degrees although I have to say if your kids play sports at School Prosper has this new super cool high school and they get indoor facilities okay check this out not every school has this many times the football players and band and

Cheerleaders and all that practice Outdoors where it gets really hot if you’re thinking about moving to Texas to the Dallas Fort Worth area we would be so thrilled to be your team of choice that helps us create more videos like this so click the link below and schedule one-on-one Zoom consultation so

Hello there Dana (and Pastor Brandon), pretty cool video about "What is it Like Living in Dallas?"

When It's God's Will (not mine) to move to the Lone Star State of Texas, I would not live in the City of Dallas, since the city government is run by liberal, leftists and I am a GOP Conservative.

I would prefer living in Forth Worth or Garland or another DFW Metroplex city that is run by a Republican city government. Please take care & God's Blessings to you both. 😊🙏🙏🙏📖

there's a reason why the dallas pd is supported by its community: they dont overpolice their own citizens, they focus on fighting actual crime. i'm a dfw transplant from a "northern" big city, and trust me, the difference is night and day. up north, the police unions have too much power and the politicians are to milquetoast to act as a check on their power when they want to increase ticketing to "fight" crime. if you've never lived in a city where the entire city is a speedtrap and you get stopped by police ON YOUR OWN PROPERTY multiple times per year, you wouldn't understand why people have such a negative view of police. But I digress, I love living in Grapevine, TX

I'm so Impressed with Dallas supporting police even with Dem Mayor. I'm more of a Fort Worth person but The Magic Time Machine was a fun memory for me in Dallas. Fun restaurant. I just ordered a bunch more of Texas brochures online.😊

All the Dallas Republicans are moving out into the suburbs.
    I don’t blame them.
    Fort Worth is better 🔴🇨🇱🇺🇸
