To pay America back for supporting their "revolution " Texas gave it huge amounts of it territory.

1 after the Texas revolution . Blacks would become slaves again.
2 in about 30 years after the Texas revolution they would join the confederate to fight for pro slavery .

He didn't mention that between the revolution and US annexation that Texas was the Republic of Texas. We are the only state to have been an independent nation.

Umm….I live in east Texas and I see more farms than oil farms and stuff like it down here in Houston (not to be rude)Also most things I see in Houston are mostly steak places

Panhandle of Texas is the best . Love that I move here. West Texas probably got Mountains but we got the Second largest Canyon next too The Grand Canyon up here. The best air in Texas too.

The oil industry is big in East Texas, but probably bigger in the Permian Basin of West Texas.
Much cotton is grown in the Panhandle region, not where your map calls West Texas.
Many cattle are in South Texas, but they are not "concentrated" there; they are spread all over the state.
You stated that the first area farmed was the Blackland Prairies in the 1820s. During the 1820s, that part of Texas had almost zero population.
You placed the Balcones Escarpment farther East that it is. And, in reality, that escarpment should be used as a major divider of regions — running along the South edge of the Edwards Plateau to just west of San Antonio, then continuing west of Austin and Waco, then continuing toward Ft.Worth.
The video would be better if it used the Spanish and French flags of the time period instead of today. And you used the Texas Naval Jack for the flag of the Republic. < cough > Why did you do that?
