They've moved to a new, less "hip" location since this video. And, yes, the food IS wonderful – but the service is terrible. An hour from order to food on the table our last visit. Which will always BE our last visit.

The puff puff pass sounds like something someone would order after going puff puff!

I am Texas born and raised until I joined the U. S. army in ‘86. Now, living in Michigan since ‘91, I’ve relished my vacations to Galveston as yearly rituals. Now, after watching this video, I am intrigued in visiting The Gypsy Joint with my fiancé. We’re lovers of good food, and nice people, so this will be an incredibly awesome experience for the both of us!

That building was Gambino's liquor store in the past, they have a new location on 61st Street still in Galveston, Texas. I had no idea they were on this show, good deal!

That puff puff pass should have a little surprise on the side. Just like Cracker Jack

Bucket list as your title is a very generous way of this channel reviewing very mediocre and pedestrian dishes. How many more burgers, Tex-Mex, etc can a person take? And why is it always south, coastal Texas restaurants being reviewed more than north texas?

Nothing like some gypsy (hippie) hair in your food. No hair nets, open armpits. Yeah!
