I grew up in that little community of Phelps, all we ever had was railroad tracks and a stop sign. Now we have the best tauqeria ever !!! ….and railroad tracks and a stop sign. Stop by, the owners are super nice people and EVERYTHING they make is great !

I am from Canada. I recently visited friends who live near Huntsville. Within hours of getting off the plane, they took me to Carmelita's. What a great experience, perfect food, and lots of it (man, after travelling for 8 hours, I was hungry!). My mouth is watering right now, just from the memory. Thank you to all at Carmelita's. If I could do what they are doing, it is my retirement dream. Gracias amigos!
I bought some land down the street from this restaurant and let me tell you. I was surprised and amazed at how good the food was. Like they say, the best food comes from hole in the walls.
