I'm a NY guy .. lived here my whole life. My son moved to West Texas. I spent some time there. It is a special place on Earth. These aren't just songs. The people, the sunsets .. the hard work and kindness is infectious

I like how Taylor Sheridan puts Texas Country in all of his shows.. Nice to hear them somewhere besides my car stereo.

I'm in the Texas panhandle. This song gets to me, as do most of the songs in Yellowstone.

"I've seen the thunderheads descend and rip into the groundThe twisted hand of heaven spreading terror all aroundSending farmers into deeper debt and ranchers to the graveWhere towers mark the end of time with slowly spinning blades'Til the water table falls below the reach of humankindI ain't crying; that's west Texas in my eye." This awesome song was probably thought up before that pair of Traitors, Pansy Obama, and Criminal Joe Biden, decided to destroy our nation, but it could have been written with them in mind. Fuck them both and any leftist morons who still eat their Marxist bullshit. MAGA Patriots

Texas has a mystique. An aura, all its own. You don't claim Texas. Texas claims you.

I have always loved the Texas panhandle and it’s wide open plains. People truly underestimate the beauty of west Texas. US Highway 83 is a pretty incredible drive.

I was born in San Angelo raised in Lubbock. Met Charlie through an associate at work. He was intense. Quiet. Observant. And you could tell he was different than the other folks who come to the counter. Having seen and lived it all including the most recent Tornado in Matador. The baseball hail in Lubbock. Losing so much and seeing others lose so much more… This song hits me right in the feels. Y’all got me Rollin up 27 all messed up. Cause this song is what it is to be a West Texan. And, if you ain’t lived every word, stand by. You will.

I've lived in West Texas all my life. 41 years. It's in my blood. But it's time to move on. I can't do the dirt/wind anymore, not with the asthma my youngest son has. So this song really hits home.

I had to move to New England. Still own my ranchland in New Mexico…but the politicians ruined the state. I know that someday when I go back to the west, it’ll be in those Texas hills off of 10, far away from everything; and just live in peace.

I lived in Midland for a couple years a while back. It is where my oldest child was born. This song brings me right back to that time. Someday I’ll get back to West Texas.
