linen trousers are easily one of the most classic most timeless summer Essentials that you could own whether you just bought a pair or you already own some and you have no idea how to style them you’ve come to the right video today we’re going to walk you through how to style a linen trouser a linen pant and give you some phenomenal ideas that you can recreate at home so you can create effortlessly Chic outfits they are hands down one of my favorite things that I own in the summer and I constantly wear and so I hope to leave you with some inspiration and some ideas at the end of want to preface the video are with the two stand and like most classic waistbands that a trouser will come in a linen trouser will come in so the first is this drawring style now the drawstring style I really recommend using for a beach cover up a casual day outing it is more leaned towards being a casual linen pant even the back pocket is very casual now it’s not impossible to dress this pant up with heels and maybe a top that’ll cover over the drawstring waistband but it is as I said leaned more towards casual and then here we have a perfect example of that classic trouser waistband with the belt loops and sometimes pleats this one has pleats and this is a great pant to take from day two night so it’s a bit more versatile than just having your drawring linen pant this one you can wear with heels but you can also wear with sneakers during the day so as I said it’s a bit more Versa um there’s more options to style it with and although the back has this stretchy waistband the pockets are a wel pocket and are leaned more towards a formal way of dressing versus when you have this pocket it’s a bit more casual so I really just wanted to preface that first if you are more of a casual person this pant could be perfect for you and the events that you’re going to if you tend to dress more casually but if you like to dress up a little bit more then this one might be a better option for you all right ladies let’s start off with look number one so the first way that I would style a pair of linen trousers especially ones with a classic trouser waistband is with a vest top or otherwise known as a waist coat this one is by J crew and although it is not the same brand as my Alice and Olivia Dylan white linen pants it pairs perfectly because it’s the same shade of white I wanted to keep the all-white monochromatic feel to the outfit by pairing it with a matching white bag and another trick that I like to use as a 56 tall girl is if I don’t tailor or kind of modify and as I said tailor the Hem of my trousers I will actually leave them long and then just wear a really tall platform heel with it so it gives the illusion that I have longer leaner legs and so this is the final look I love it I think it’s very formal semi-formal and it’s a great way to style a classic trouser waisted band Lin pant with a vest for waist coat another way I would wear these Alice and Olivia white linen pants is by pairing it with a longer sleeved linen button down that’s very Classic this one is actually surprisingly very good quality it’s by H&M and it actually has this like tie in the front I paired it with my Tahari sunglasses and a very casual bag by Calvin Klein big bags are super in this season and so I wanted to style it in a more casual way so you can see how I just transformed this very elegant very classic white trouser into something a bit more casual but still elevated and I kept it going with these sneakers which I love still has that platform as you can see so I don’t have to tailor the ends and this is the full look I would totally wear this to run errands in the summer but also go on vacation and a big bag can never do you wrong when you have a lot to travel with as well okay now let’s style some blue drawstring linen pants so these in particular by J crew I love them the base of this outfit is going to be a black simple tank top by Zara the fabrication of this tank top is still very lightweight it’s a blend of silk and cotton and so for accessories I wanted to amp it up a little bit more since the base of the outfit’s very simple with a beach like woven tow by deiler deiler London has some beautiful bags please go check them out and then for sunglasses to go with a contrast black leather of the bag and the tank I decided to wear my go-to black sunglasses as well so this look definitely exudes like casually cool girl runs errands grabs lunch is a beach girl vacation tropical Vibes and so as well as the shoes are very casually cool and comfortable these are by Steve Madden and I wanted to keep a little bit of that sophisticated look and feel with a little bit of platform nothing crazy but this is the whole look you guys I would totally wear this out and it just goes to show that with the right accessories you can kind of amplify a very simple look like a tank top and linen pants but really what makes this outfit is the color number one of these casually cut linen pans and number two the accessories that make make it look a little bit more refined the next way I would style this drawstring pant is actually with a really comfortable and stretchy tube top so I know tube tops are not everyone’s cup of tea but for me in the summer they’re a must because they are just great for when the weather is way too hot and so I’m going to show you again with the right accessories how you can make it kind of cool effortlessly chic this one’s a more of a sporty look so I added a black hat to keep my face away from the Sun a little bit and then these sporty Isabel Maron sunglasses for shoes I actually kept the same shoes the platform sandals and I added just an elevated touch with my YSL toy puffer bag which I love cuz it’s still a very casual bag but that design for some reason really worked with the sportiness of the outfit and then I also want to show you if a tube top is too much you can always wear a matching linen shirt on top of it with the buttons all the way open and just layer it with that tube top still being underneath I obviously kept the same bag as the last look but this looks more like a comfy coordinate set look and this is more for my ladies who don’t like to show their arms yet again a tube top is still really refreshing and really like easy breezy and lightweight as a layer underneath the button down so I still think it’s a great way to layer those two pieces as well next up I’m going to style these linen black trousers from Gap going back to that trouser waistband I want to add a sweater this time this is an open knit sweater can’t tell you where it’s from I think it’s from like Nordstrom Rack or Nordstrom but a open knit sweater or a lightweight sweater in general is a great way to add on top of a tank top and then wear with your linen trouser pants to give it a bit more of a casual cozy feel and then I kept the accessories really simple in this one I’m using my white Nike Air Force One sneakers and my Prada bag with my St Lon glasses and as you can see it’s very casually cool it’s great for traveling I actually really love this outfit for traveling because let’s say it gets hot I can always take the sweater off or on and then another way that I like to style it or make it look different is just by wrapping it over my shoulder as well as I said if it gets too warm so this is what it looks like I really love this and it’s just so simple but again any sweater works as long as it’s just comfortable kind of plays with the colors of the linen pant and this one was perfect another one of my favorite ways to style and almost dress down this linen black pant is by wearing a contrasting tank top and a denim jacket a denim jacket is a great way to dress down a linen pant that has a sophisticated waistband such as this one and so I paired it with this contrasting white tank top from mango my Veronica beard jacket for accessories I decided to go a little bit more sophisticated and refined because the base of the outfit was so minimal and simple so I went with that YSL bag and then I paired it this time with my BGA sunglasses which I love and there’s the full look for shoes I also did very simple white sneakers to keep it consistently casual and understated and I just want you guys to know I would totally totally wear this outfit it is so comfortable yet I feel really confident in it and it’s just easy and so that’s what my point in these videos is to recommend outfits that I would realistically wear next is a more formal way to wear this linen pant so I always think that a crop top looks really great and also lace lace lace lace with linen you guys this is an eyelet lace top that I got from Dynamite clothing a few years ago and I love the look of it with these linen pants and then a little satin bag for a final touch with some gold hoops for accessories so again very simple yes it’s an all black look but I’m playing with different textures here I’m wearing eyelid I’m wearing satin and then I’m wearing linen to tie in with my gold earrings I wore these Tory Birch sandals that literally look like jewelry on my feet because they have gold seashells and that’s the final look I would wear this for a dinner out not only in Miami but in any tropical weather last but not least it is my go-to bodysuit a bodysuit and a linen pant is a match made in heaven so you guys have seen this body suit before it is my Contour bodysuit by Studio TR it’s amazing CU it really holds you in sucks you in in all the right places and has a really sexy low back cut it just goes really well with the linen pant once again playing with those textures I know I’ve said that twice or three times now but it’s the truth I paired it with my platform black heels and a new Crystal mango bag that I absolutely love for nighttime and although it’s black on black the crystals really shine and show through and last but not least a very elegant way to style your go-to linen trouser is by pairing it with its matching linen Blazer I love a linen Blazer and this all linen suit set is by a Parisian brand called the koals I came across it when I was browsing and shopping through a very famous luxury department store in Spain called elord and this one in particular caught my eye because the fabrication was a lot thicker than your traditional lightweight linen fabric so it gave a lot more structure on the body and this is the full look it’s just very elegant and Timeless and in my opinion one of the most sophisticated ways to pair your
