They just sold the 6666. We've lost a huge chunk of our history.
Really enjoyed this, 72 years old and miss the old days. The cowboys now don't know one end from another on a cow just maybe they do on a horse.

I’ve had the please of attending the ranch rodeo held every year during the Fort Worth Stock Show. It was a lot of fun to watch the teams of ranch hands from various ranches including the 6666 compete in all sorts of rodeo events including wild cow milking. 🤠 Thanks Red for this video of the 6666 ranch. Enjoyed the program. I am a history nut so I am a big fan of the Burnett family. There is no way to calculate the contribution to the quarterhorse. Tom Burnett his daughter,granddaughter, and great-granddaughter had and have a talent for judging a horse. The family has given millions to charity down through the years. Tom Burnett made a reputation for being a playboy. But in the depression years never a friend or cowboy or kid went hungry or ragged after meeting Tom Burnett. He gave away stallions to friends that became foundation horses for the breed.
