I can't believe some of the comments on here. All these people saying how horrible it is more people have moved to "their" towns. I would hate to have you in my community. Have we all forgotten that for ALOT of people moving to a new place is to try & make their life better?! There are bad & good people in every city in America. Besides we are NEVER going to build better communities by having the attitudes I see in this comment section.
Kerrville!
Dig deep into the history ELLIS COUNTY TEXAS beware of the caveat emptores.MASS MURDERERS THAT HAS RECENTLY BEEN BUILDING MASSIVE ÈXACUTION GAS CHAMBERS. §TOCK PILING BUSSES AT THE SUPER COLLIDOR also in Tyler tx All the cables along the highways getting more and more people to move here so they can sacrifice them .
Good video. Have you done “Top 10 Medium Size Towns on Texas” list? All the places on this one were population under 2,000. I live in Brenham which is about half way between Houston and Austin and 40 minutes to College Station / Bryan with their major medical hospital systems (St. Joesph and Scott & White) and Texas A&M….our population is around 10-12,000. Affordable housing and low crime….
Just a thought.
I am a 7th generation Texan and proud of it! I have lived a number of years in Dallas, Austin, and Houston as well as several smaller towns McDade, Huntsville, Matagorda, Conroe to name a few. Remember just because a town has a couple of doctors or a health clinic ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT say anything about the doctors, the facilities or level of quality and care available and provided. Go and look before you move there and just check out the doctor or clinics waiting room and see if its somewhere you would even WANT to go…. and if a nursing home is something you are interested in go check it out first too, cuz some can be really bad
Ga nay do not Ga nah do. I live close to Ganado and never heard anyone call it Ga nah do.
Stay at least 80 miles from the Mexican border, that's how much the government hasn't bothered to dominate, ever
Extremely good video
Holy smokes. Stopped the vid after the weird tin foil hatting about crime stats. How in the world does a tool like this have 1M subs?
I love stumbling across videos like this and learning about what towns you think are the best to retire or live or whatever.. and some of your filler shots i could see that were of far west Texas in the Big Bend area.. I grew up in the best little town in Texas called Alpine and all though i now reside in Dallas i would still move back and retire there.. Health care is great and crime is low. so keep up what you are doing but go west and check it out.
I noticed a couple of patterns with this channel. First, each video includes an admonition for us viewers to "be nice to each other". Second, the narrator expresses his opinions with "not so nice" jabs at the subjects. At first it is amusing, but he just doesn't stop, and it gets and then stays old.
Like to hear more about churches in these towns.
i i used to live in a small town name kyle tx population 20,000 25 years ago now in 2023 65,000 and still growing
WE WILL PROTEST, or simply play unfairly, TO PUSH THEM OUT. Don't force us to increase our CRIME RATE just to run you outa town!
Tom Araya from Slayer lives in Buffalo
Online research can be done on treating COVID by typing Treating COVID With Diet And Exercise in the search box of YouTube, and in the search box of Yahoo, and in the search box of Ask.
They probably do know since they are from there!!! Seriously
It's Ganado, TX.
ganado? what about shiner???
Marlin Texas is a gold mine land is very cheap is going to explode next year 2024
Texas sounded like a great idea. Then I visited for two weeks. Good luck. Weather sucks. Air crappy. Property taxes insane. System overloading. Bad weather power goes out and you freeze or rent rooms. Good luck.
I can assure you, as a local, we pronounce Ganado as gah-nay-doe… I do not know how that the creator of this video had most people say the alternative…. I can assure you, if your pronounce it gah nah doe, you’re not from this area.
I literally talks so much, you forget the name of the town he we was talking about with his side joke's
Axle Tx too
A lot of you are sleeping on the serenity of the desert. Truly one of the most peaceful places on earth, and sold for pennies on the dollar.
And I'm not into Sedona's mysticism or New Mexico's charm at all, but the land was there before the lines. Just saying.
No, it's 'Ga-NAY-doe'. And guess what? I USED TO LIVE THERE!!!
GOOD HUNTING IN SONORA
I HAVE A GOOD FRIEND THAT LIVES THERE.CURTIS BLAIR AND WINDY BLAIR
Welcome to Texas, respect our guns and our conservative views. Leave all the liberal politics behind you.
Don't eff it up by being a demonrat.
You keep showing clips from the Trans-Pecos region while talking about towns in south and east Texas. Kind of confusing due to the drastic differences in the landscapes, sort of an unintentional misrepresentation of these towns.
There are some nice small towns in Texas. But a word in your ear. Beware of gossipy neighbors; tongues wag about the newcomers. You'll need to "fit in" the culture of whatever small town you're eyeing. Small town Texans can sometimes be suspicious of outsiders. A Bronx urbanite with a New York accent who hates guns and has a cosmopolitan mindset may not "fit in", in small southern towns. In which case Dallas, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio would be a more common sense alternative.
We have a family ranch located about 10 miles from Buffalo, TX. Buffalo has grown quite a bit in the last 15 years, for the better. Not sure we'll ever live up there full time, but who knows? Nice video.
I live in east Texas
Could you do a video on west Texas please
If you're wanting to move to Texas move to the Panhandle. Many of beautiful places to move and real estate is affordable! Don't move anywhere other than the Panhandle it's no good.
Why do you add clips of mountains & desert in this video around the coastal cities? Those clips are nowhere near the towns you were referring to when the mountains clip popped up. Lol😊
bitch u aint never been
Property value is overrated in all areas
As someone who lived in rural Texas
It's beautiful man, I grew up in rural Texas and I loved it
Cheap and fun and I was surrounded by nature.
My favorite rural town in Texas: Terlingua.
Only 60% of crimes are reported so stats are always low
I love Sonora. I went there a few times as a kid to see relatives. I've thought about retiring there eventually. They had a bad flood in 2018. Took them quite a long time to recover from it. Other than that, it's a great place.
If everything goes good I'll be a few minutes out of Bonham
Davey Crockett did not come thru Honey Grove , Texas on the way to the Alamo.
