In case you people need reminding , cowboying was invented in Texas.

15:44 Do you intentionally rope those baby calves, or was it for the movie? We have our children mug a small calf like that for working. No need to involve a horse for small work like that. Unless you want to play cowboy.

12:32 How good do you actually have to be as far as knowing the country goes, when there are no trees? You can see each other for a 100 freaking yards.

9:43 As you get older you will appreciate coffee, and there is no such thing as a breakfast burrito in Texas. You Yankee people call them burritos but the Mexicans call them tacos. And, after all they invented them.

0:01 That "could be said of any adventurous, dangerous job in the world. Like Doctor Ben Parker said, the cowboy is the only common laborer who has become a national folk hero.

The slow-mo of the rope work is awesome. I learned how to rope as a kid in Okla. an old fireman taught me how and I’ve enjoyed it ever since. I can’t ride a horse anymore because of a lower spine injury but I do miss it. I always liked heeling because it seemed more difficult… not sure why. Maybe I’ll teach my son how to rope his dog in a couple years, lol.
